The Dirty Nil seems to be a more unusual band to put out a release on Fat. They sound more like grunge or garage musicians than the classic punk rock/modern pop-punk recipe that is usually part of the Fat roster.
So far I haven’t really gotten into them. Although it might not exactly be my cup of tea musically, the vinyl itself is one of the nicest Fat has released in quite some time. It’s translucent orange with opaque yellow splatter, limited to 415 copies.
Let’s wait and see, the music might grow on me once I spin it a few more times. But maybe you like it at the first listen:
